A Chinese Yellow Jade 'Lobed' Zun Vase
黃玉仿古饕餮紋海棠尊
The vase with a lobed outline, the compressed globular body carved in relief with stylized taotie masks, the sloping neck decorated with overlapping plantain leaves, carved to each narrow side with a stylized dragon-form handle suspending a loose ring, all resting atop a short stepped foot, the stone of an even yellow tone with russet skins, together with a well carved fitted hardwood stand.
